सिलीगुड़ी और आसपास के इलाकों में लगातार बढ़ती आपराधिक गतिविधियों को लेकर सीपीआई(एम) दार्जिलिंग जिला कमेटी ने गहरी चिंता व्यक्त की है।

हाल के समय में सिलीगुड़ी और इसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में असामाजिक गतिविधियाँ, चोरी, लूटपाट और डकैती की घटनाएँ असामान्य रूप से बढ़ गई हैं। सिर्फ़ पिछले दो दिनों—कल और आज—में ही 3-4 घटनाएँ घटी हैं, जिससे आम जनता के बीच भय और असुरक्षा की भावना पैदा हो रही है। विशेषकर महिलाएँ स्वयं को अत्यंत असुरक्षित महसूस कर रही हैं।

ऐसी स्थिति के लिए पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार, विशेष रूप से तृणमूल कांग्रेस सरकार की निष्क्रियता और पुलिस प्रशासन की घोर विफलता जिम्मेदार है। अपराधियों के लिए एक तरह का मुक्त वातावरण बन गया है, जिससे वे बेझिझक इन आपराधिक गतिविधियों को अंजाम दे रहे हैं।

सीपीआई(एम) दार्जिलिंग जिला कमेटी स्पष्ट रूप से पुलिस प्रशासन और पुलिस कमिशनर की विफलता पर कड़ा विरोध दर्ज कराते हुए, संबंधित पुलिस कमिशनर को अविलंब पद से हटाने की मांग करती है। साथ ही, आम जनता की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने में राज्य सरकार पूर्ण रूप से विफल रही है। हमारा स्पष्ट रुख है कि सिलीगुड़ी शहर को अपराधमुक्त बनाने के लिए राज्य सरकार तुरंत प्रभावी कदम उठाए।

An awareness program was successfully organized today at Rangbul School, engaging both students and teachers. The session was held in the presence of CI Sadar Sir, OC Traffic, police station staff, and traffic personnel.

The program aimed to educate the students about crucial social and legal issues such as the POCSO Act, Cybercrime, Drug Abuse, and Road Safety. Officers and experts addressed the young minds, highlighting the importance of staying informed and vigilant in today’s world.

Approximately 100 students actively participated in the session, making it a highly interactive and impactful event.

Patient from Illandu Receives Support from SOCIAL JUSTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS COUNCIL & NATIONAL ANTI CRIME & HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL OF INDIA Team in Boinpally

Hyderabad, July 3, 2025: A patient named Amallamma from Illandu village was recently brought to NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad for urgent medical treatment. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hospital staff initially refused to admit her.

In response, the team from SOCIAL JUSTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS COUNCIL & NATIONAL ANTI CRIME & HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL OF INDIA, based in Boinpally, was immediately contacted for assistance. Acting promptly, the team intervened and ensured that the patient received the necessary medical attention.

Today, members of the Boinpally team personally met another patient, Kamalamma, to understand her medical condition and provide the required support. Alongside moral encouragement, the team also extended financial assistance for her ongoing treatment.

The humanitarian visit included the following members:
